iphone14

The iPhone 14 is now six months old and is expected to be presented in a new version this spring. Technically nothing changes, optically already. Apple is digging deep into the paint pot and will soon be giving the cell phone a new color. A recent report from the Far East reveals Apple's plans for the iPhone 14. According to this, Apple is planning to introduce a new color variant. Customers can currently choose between blue, violet, midnight, polar star and red. A yellow color could be added in spring.

There hasn't been a yellow iPhone for a long time. Most recently, Apple had the eye-catching color in its portfolio for the iPhone 11 in 2019 and for the iPhone XR in 2018. It is still unclear whether only the two regular models of the iPhone 14 will appear in a new color or whether the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will also be color revised. However, a shade of yellow there might be too similar to the existing gold option.

New colors for the iPhone in the middle of the product cycle were and are no longer unusual for Apple, so sales should be boosted. As already mentioned, last year Apple chose green, and the year before that it chose purple for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. This year it will probably be a whole lot brighter and even more exciting with yellow. Apple would thus serve a trend, because as a recent survey showed, customers of the current models are actually increasingly turning to the bright color options. Buyers, on the other hand, only prefer black for Apple's older iPhones.
